We finished packing, checked out, and stored our bags with the concierge. We then took an Uber to a new restaurant called Cucina Abierta (open kitchen) and The food was not Puerto Rican, however it was a nice high-end type of tasting menu. We had a squash soup, and a Korean barbecue type baby back ribs, a short rib with humita, kind of a rough corn-tasting ingredient . each and every dish was lovely. However we couldn't stick around for dessert – we had to take off to the hotel pick up our bags and head to the ship. Once on the ship, it started raining like a sunova*****! We tried to settle in, but our suitcase wasn't showing up - so we decided to forget about unpacking and headed off to walk around the ship a bit before dinner. We had signed up for the steakhouse because we had heard the first night at the main dining room was very hectic. Due to my gluten free and dairy free diet it was a bit disheartening that none of my food choices were available to me - but we managed to eat our fill. After dinner we caught a set of Selwyn Birchwood and then Los Lobos. We decided to not stay for the next set, but to see if our luggage had arrived (which it had) and unpack.
