Actually, this morning we went to a time share discussion. Yes, silly, I know, but to get a hotel room in NYC for $350 for 3 days, we spent 90 minutes listening to a pitch. (We didn't buy...) but we got out just in time to slide into our seats at the Walter Kerr Theater (my first time in this beautiful small venue) to see A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER. Another wonderful show - shades of Gilbert & Sullivan. The women were exceptionally good - beautifully cast, and the men were excellent as well. The set design was exceptional. It closes in January, so if you have a chance, please see it. Oh - I forgot to mention that Becky Hoodwin joined us at Juniors last night! By the time we got out of A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE, it was pouring rain, so we ran into da Marino, an Italian restaurant around the corner that was open. What luck - excellent food, and we splurged on our favorite wine - Amarone! Jon, Fern, Joey and I enjoyed an excellent calimari (well, Joey didn't enjoy the calimari - he doesn't eat anything out of the sea) and the penne vodka, gnocchi, and lasagna were all wonderful. Susan and an old friend Jim joined us and since we couldn't finish our many dishes (huge portions) they helped us polish everything off. We then walked to our hotel and sat for a bit with yet another drink ... joey and I were supposed to join Fabrizio Ellis, Hugh's youngest son, and his mother, for a drink after the show they were seeing, but by then, we were fried. we went back upstairs and watched the 2nd World Series game while I entered this! Still haven't figured out how to get our photos uploaded.... Tomorrow we transfer to the cruise ship Queen Mary 2!!!
