Today the only thing we had scheduled was a tour by an art historian of the Louvre. Good thing we didn't schedule anything else, because after the Louvre, we were exhausted. It's a lovely day today in Paris. Clear, it started out a bit chilly, and warmed up to 63 degrees F. As I expect you all know by now, there was a terrorist attack on Paris.  It was located in the 10th and 11th arrondisments (neighborhoods).  Our convention was located in the 19th.  I say "was" because Paris is in a state of emergency - all state buildings, museums, etc., are closed.  Some metro stops are closed.   Last night, we were supposed to go to a "meet up" of LA Hosts in the 10th arrondisment, and because there were two workshops ...

It is 4:30 AM and I find out about the Paris Terrorist attacks as I get texts and emails from family and friends. I will tell Joey when he wakes up. Thank you all for your concern. I also received a text from Airbnb saying that the various Paris outings today have been canceled. More later.
