Tammo and I have been back in the Bay a couple of weeks now and have settled down in a house near to the beach, so its been up early every morning to hit the surf. The beaches here are pretty amazing and we are a 5 minute walk from some pretty nice surf breaks. The other day at Tallows beach we saw a lovely pelican hanging out with the fishermen and one of them gave us some fish to feed it with. He was a bit of an inept pelican, not as crafty as the ones in St James park with a penchant for pigeon, because the seagulls kept getting his fish off him. Then we saw a fish eagle , as Tallows is in front of a beautiful nature reserve, and walking home from Broken Head, a dark red kangaroo hopped across the track in front of us.
There's so much to do in Byron Bay, this evening we've been to a Capoeira class, which was totally full on, but so much fun, and a pretty good workout. I am sure I'll be stiff in the morning. Its scorchio here at the moment, hope sunny England isn't too chilly. xx
