I guess no one is bothering to check this blog anymore since I am so rubbish at updating it. Anyway, here I am, in Auckland. Got a new job at Intrepid which is a flippin dream, and living in Devonport with Queen Elisabeth, Darren the lycra fetishist and two senile old cats. Its marvelous really.

Work finished, we've been on the road for the past week and are now in scorching hot Alice Springs. My brain has totally switched off and i find myself unable to even read a map. quite fortunate since there is pretty much only one road anyway. the drivings been pretty full on, like all every day and we've been camping out in the bush, the best campsite so far has been at Lake Moondarra just outside Mount Isa, just our vans, the full moon reflected in the lake, ...

Hey folks, well... its true that, thus far, my travels have not quite been what i originally thought. The first month or so there was much moving around and then.... you know, its hard to leave Byron Bay. Its different from other places. I came here and it was as though someone pressed the slo-mo button on my remote control, all the things that preoccupied me every day in London life have melted away. I can't imagine a better place to be, I've been so happy here...
