Being in Darwin is like being in a steam oven with your head wrapped up in clingfilm so you can't breathe. Its so hot. Poor pale little me. Its not at all how I'd expected it. I knew about Cyclone Tracey but didn't realise it had wiped out the entire city, so every building here is post 1974. Huge hotels, apartment blocks, out of town garages.
