Em Goes Exploring
Home James!
I promised that I would update you with more tales of my antics in San Francisco. Well, I shopped and I shopped and I shopped. Oh, I did return to Fishermans Wharf to visit and board a tall ship at the National Maritime Park. I also planned to walk across the Golden Gate Bridge, but sadly the ol' San Francisco fog rolled in and you could only just see the Bay.
Then, before I knew it it was Saturday 7th April and time for me to make my way back home to England. Boy was I excited; I could not keep still. The flight from San Francisco to London Heathrow was superb, not a single ounce of turbulence and the sky so clear I could see the Idaho Mountain Range below. After a few films, it was time to land - 1hr descent into London but spectacular views of the Capital City.
Mum greeted me at the airport at 11.30am on Easter Sunday - it was great to be home!
I've had an absolutely splendid year; but now the time has come to return to the real world. Well, until Thursday when I will hop back on a plane to Dubai, where I will stay with Si for two weeks (BIG grins)! Then, it is back to work! Thank you for all your emails and messages whilst I've been travelling, it's been great to hear from you.
I will be posting pictures from NZ, Fiji and San Francisco in the near future.
So, for now I bid you adieu and look forward to seeing you soon.
Lots of Love, Em x
