3PM Thursday
Arrived in Auckland half 4 yesterday, flight was good, only 2 and half hours, i'm not used to them so short, Air New Zealand this time, not Mr Branson, main thing i noticed is that they use cabin crew that are older. Lunch was chicken salad of beef pie, which i had, followed by Ice Cream. I thought Australia was strict, it was like question time getting in here, "why are you visiting, do you know anyone, what do you do, why stay 3 days in sydney and a month in new zealand, what are you planning to do" Also had to show 2 seperate people proof that i had a ticket to leave, and they x-ray all your bags before leaving the airport.
My room's nice, got one to myself with a kettle and everything. Did my washing last night, still a bit damp at minute, hoping it will be dry by the morning, i've got to get my bus at 7.30am so an early start i think. Haven't really done much today, finished my book and wondered around town a bit, went to the supermarket and got some cereal and stuff.
Mum, if you want to apply for tickets for the young farmers carol concert you need to send a stamped self addressed envelope, stating how many tickets you want to:
Cornwall YFC, Pavillion Centre, Royal Cornwall Showground, Wadebridge, PL27 7JE
They are accepting entries from the 1st November, not before they will be thrown away, so if you want to go i'd post it off today.
