ill carry on from last time. just had our first awful night in surfers paradise and gone hunting for new accomodation.

the next day we dropped off our bags at the new place called cheers and went into the town center. did our grocery shoppin for the next few days and spent abit of time on the beach, althoguh its wasnt too hot so no sunbathing! afterwards we checked into our hostel and did a heap of washing! hung it all round our room, which was a 4 bed dorm and we were the only ones in. well thats what we thought. very soon after hanging our knickers on a line through the middle of the room, a guy walks through the door who were sharing with. nice introduction! anyway really nice guy and he didnt care! spent quite abit of time with himself (paul) and his friend christian or buckle. went on a pub crawl that night with the hostel again not an amsing night. did a fair bit of dancing which was fun but got bored after a while. bumped into the european guys from byron bay whcih was quite funny. had a fairly early night again.

next day kady went to wet and wild with the guys and me and alex stayed on the ebach and got very nciely tanned. had a very early one that night. played abit of pool and cards. the next day pretty much followed suit again excpet that we had booked ourself on a booze cruise. so ate early and then headed off to that with paul and buckle. got to the first bar had a free drink. unfortunatley it wasnt our kind of cruise very trendy peopel evrywhere! not quite our scene as it included stickers for whether your single or taken not quite sure why thats relevant well i no why but i wasnt interested in that sort of thing. anyway! borderd the boat a wwhile alter and was on that for a few hours playin funny games and dancin. was a good night! kady took part in a simon says game in pairs and kicked everyones asses! was funny. after the boat wnet to another bar with them. met a couple of girls too, jozi and steph! swtayed at that bar for a while then went to another bar got very bored and left.

similar day again, on the beach then left at 3 for brisbane! on the way the bus took us to a zorbing place!

had so much fun. zorbs are huge inflated palstic balls full of water that you sit in the middle of and roll down a hill in! we got to all go together which was great! got to the top of the hill and had to be hosed down with freezing water, not pleasant! dived into the middle of the ball and sit on hands and knees. then roled down the hill screaming with laughter! so so funny possibly one of the best things weve done on the trip so far. then after youve rolled down the hill you flop out and it actually looks like the balls giving birth to you form outisde!

got bakc on the bus freezing cold! arrived at teh hostel in brisbane fairly late and went to the pub downstairs for dinner. got chatting to a couple of the girls from the oz experinece bus, frankie, jess and a couple of others. had a few drinks with them and then off to bed.

the next day we got up and wandered into town with not a clue what to do or where to go. ended up walking to the botanic gardens and wandering round there for a while but got bitten to shreds by mozzies so left.
