last day in cairns and very sad to be leaving australia! leaving at stupid time tomorrow mornin not good!

had 4 days here! n i like it alot. from townsville we caught the bus and on the way to cairns stopped off at a crocodile farm! really cool. we got a tour round the farm, and one of the keepers was feeding the crocs and making them jump and come out the water whcih was cool. there was one huge croc that was like 18ft and the biggest kept in captivity anywhere wich was cool! it was like somethin from lake placcid i swear! also fed lots of kangaroos that were in the park so cute! really tame too. then he went in to a caswara pen and got him to like show how the bird attacks. a casawar is abit like an emu but black with a red and blue neck and a huge horn on top of its head! to attack it like jumps in the air and kicks with its huge claws, can jump a full grown man! after the tour we got to hold a baby croc and some lizards and snakes.

once wed arrived in cairns we checked in and was quite late so went out to an irish pub for some bargain dinner. after went to the woolshed, a bar everyone has been ravin about to meet the group for last night drinks! unfortunatly none turned up not even the bus driver! well annoyin so didnt stay long.

next day we wandered round and booked a tour to cape tribulation, and just had abit of a lazy day food shoppin and stuff! had a lazy night too!

tues we went to cape tribulation whcih is a rainforest right on the sea basically. firstly went on a cxruise up the river croc spottin, and saw a lil baby perched on a log, that was it tho! then we went for a board walk round the daintree forest and our tour elader told us loads about the plants and animals. was really beautifull, my first rainforest i think! after we went for lunch at a backpackers hostel pk's and walked from there down to the beach, didnt have long so just paddled and wwalked back. we went to mossoman river in a creek and everyone swam, the water was so clear was a really succluded beautiful spot. the water was colder than freezing tho so i just paddled again! lastly we went to port douglas on the way back for shoppin altho we just sat around! raced back for home n away and had another early night. talked to a guy in our room for a while and thats about it!

wed the weather was really nice so we went down to the lagoon and had a swim and sunbathed, our last sunbatheing in oz :(! went out that night and finished our trip in style by getting rather drunk, had a really good night with frankie, jess, caroline, lauren and louise! frankie and jess bought us going away presents too whcih was an emotional affaire. definetly without a doubt will keep in touch with them some of the nicest grls ive ever met! and weve had such a good time travellin up the coast together! new it was ment to be the very first time we met at surf camp all that time ago and me n jess were pretty much together, she was really good too. bless. in all seriousness tho they have made our trip! love them!

today very hungover not good so done nothing and i plan on doing nothing but neighbours, home n away and bed! also we bought some prezzies for the girlys too so gonna do that tonight and say our farewells to everyone!
