Beautiful sunny day started with a breakfast at Hotel Playa with all our local rotarian friends that helped make this project possible.
We then hopped on one of our previous bus donations and went on a city tour guided by Pepesan. He first showed us the north end with massive condo and hotel developments. He then showed us the south end with cathedrals, theatres, and the older downtown district.
We then went over to the aquarium for a catered lunch on one of the lawns. We were able to see many of the previously donated buses and visit with the local rotarians. We also had full access to the entire aquarium with sea lion show, bird show, crocs, botanical gardens, and of course... aquariums. Before we left, Murray and Harm tested out the water pump capability of the trucks in the aquarium parking lot.
Back at our hotel we enjoyed a couple hours of free time, and then met again for happy hour at 5pm. Dinner at Panchos a coupld doors down the street was well worth the wait. I had an amazing beef steak served on green peppers and local sauce.
Tomorow is a very full day and we have to get back behind the wheels. Should go to bed now.
