Today we got up a bit ealier so we could fit everything in before we had to leave tomorrow. We again had a lovely breakfast. Then we caught the bus into Douglas, then out to a small town on the other side of the Island called Peel. Beautiful wee place, we walked along the beach to the Peel castle. We spent a while walking around the castle, it is one of our favourites now.
We then headed into the town centre to have some lunch, we ended up having a big lunch. The food was really good. They made homemade lemonade, we must have had about 4 glasses each it was so good. We had dessert aswell. I had the best desert, yummy. You will never guess what happened while we were eating our lunch. Guy Martin which is one of the famous TT riders walked in and sat at the table behind us. It was very cool. We didn't ask for an autograph as he was moaning about his fans bugging him all the time.
We then headed to the bus stop and caught the bus back to Douglas. We walked around a little bit and bought some sandwiches to take to watch the races. We got back to the hotel and Mike, Eddies taxi friend picked us up and took us for the ride of our lives. We call him the fastest taxi driver in the world. LOL Mike took us around the TT Race track and on the Mountain part of the course he put his foot down and was going well over 100 mile an hour. It was great fun. He then dropped us off at the Crosby Pub which is on part of the course. After a quick beer we walked down the straight to a place called Ballagarey. The riders call it Ballascary as it's about a 160mph+ sweeping right hander. We asked a lady if we could watch it in her garden. It was really good. We were very close to them. After the racing finished we then rung Mike and he picked us up and took us back to the hotel.
