Today we had an early start to get to the ferry as we were leaving the Isle of Man. The taxi picked us up around 6.30am. We had a quiet ferry trip as we were all quite tired after the early start.
Once in hayshem we got into the car and headed to Manchester where Eddie and I would leave Graham and Alison to catch the train to London.
Our journey went fast, it took about an hour and a half to get to Manchester. We then headed straight to the train station and picked up our tickets that we had booked online and found out where we had to go to get the train.
Once all sorted we found our way to Old Trafford Staduim, had a look around took some photos. Then we got back in the car and headed into the town centre.
We parked the car in a flash car park, had some very expensive cars in it. The mall that was attached to the car park was very flash, we were on the look out for the football stars. Didn't see any :(
We went for lunch at a restaurant that was the same as the one that we went to in Edinburgh, it was really good food. Really enjoyed it.
We walked around the shops for a while then headed back to the train station where we had to say goodbye to our friends Graham and Alison. It was very hard to say goodbye, we were all a bit upset.
Big thank you to Graham and Alison for letting us stay with them for the two weeks and for running us around in the car. We will miss you!
The Train journey went very fast, we were in London in no time. The hotel was in perfect position right by the train station. Hotel Ibis, it was great.
Straight to bed to get ready for a day of sightseeing in London.
