We had a bit of a sleep in then headed on our way to the Isle of Man. After a quick drive we found ourselves at the Heysham Port Ferry. We were here a bit earlier than anticipated but not to worry there were plenty of bikes coming in to watch :)
Boarded the ferry, found a seat and relaxed for just over 3 hours. Very tidy ferry with good food (puts and Picton services to Shame). Hooray!!! We have arrived at the Isle of Man. We got a taxi to our hotel so we could drop off our bags. The hotel is awesome, bit of a change from what we had the previous night. Bags dropped off we decided to have a look around town (Douglas).
This place is awesome, bikes everywhere, friendly people and amazing weather. On our travels for looking for somewhere to eat we found a shop which sold TT merchandise. After a few purchases (mainly from Eddie) we found an Italian restaurant for tea. Italain restaurant sounds more posh than a pizza place, LOL. Once we finished tea we went for a walk to the TT grandstand and down Brayhill. You can see why this race is dangerous. After a lot of walking and photos we managed to find a cab and headed back to the hotel, awesome day! Sleep time!
