Hi everyone! Day 2 in Prague got off to a bang. We got up early for our transfer to a shooting range in the middle of nowhere. Our driver was a big czech guy who could speak very little english so the 45 minute drive was very quiet. We ended up driving down an old gravel road in the woods where we thought we were gonna be in the next hostel movie. All turned out ok, firing range was a lot of fun. Got to let off a few rounds from various assault rifles, a shotgun and sniper rifle. After the shooting got a free beer and feed in the log cabin before being taken back to hotel. Another quiet 45 minute trip. Once back at the hotel we got our next plan sorted out which was our continuation of the hop on hop off bus.
We walked to the first stop of the Hop on Hop off Bus, we rushed through to get to the bus and realised we were actually half a hour early. So we went to a little cafe by the bus stop Eddie had another beer, Melissa had a Sprite and shared a bag a chips.
We hoped off the bus at the stop for the Castle again and had a walk around the castle gardens and through the castle grounds again. We then had a look around the Castle Village, it was really cool walking around it. It feels like the movies. We found a restaurant to get in, Eddie had a Czech dish, meat and cream with dumplings and green beer which didnt go down very well. Melissa had Goulash which is a meat in gravy in a cob loaf of bread, it was really nice. Still no vegtables. Dad you wouldnt cope, the meals dont really include veggies at all to Eddies delight. We then had a lovely walk down from the castle. Eddie bought a hot dog which ended up in the bin after two bites. We caught the hop on hop off bus again but had to stand in the rain for about 10 mins. We stayed on the bus all the way to the end. We then walked back to the hotel, we were both really tired with the jet lag still getting to us. When we got back to the hotel we both fell asleep and didnt wake until two in the morning. Then slept through till 7am.
We both just like walking around Prague, walking through all of the cobbled streets.
One thing I havent mentioned is the weather, it is a bit like Auckland weather but warmer.
Day three to follow soon.
Also our own photos will be uploaded once we get to Scotland.

Becs Your updates are making me crave for visiting Prague again!! It is so beautiful to just walk around and take it all in... For a laugh - I recommend a puppet show if you can get into one - and best experienced a little tipsy - cause you can't understand the language anyway!!)
