hi everyone,What a great place Norway is. The scenery has been fantastic, the skies blue (hopefully they will stay that way for two more days at least) and the mountains have scratches of snow on them. We are in Isfjorden, which is a little village nr Andalsnes. we have been here two days in a beaut little camping ground , and yesterday did a great little walk up a private valley that only the locals know about. Norway has terrible signage , infact you get the feeling that they like their privacy and there are only certain areas they will share with tourists. Anyway, we were one of our first trainees, Katrine, yesterday. She has a holiday job (as she will be back in Denmark in Sept studing environmental engineering, working in a Souvneir shop at the top of one the highest roads in Norway. (The Trollstigen road) We will go there on our way to Bergen tomorrow. It will take us two days to drive down the coast to Bergen. Quite a mission. The kids have been great so far, it took us three days of solid driving to get here from Copenhagen, and although we had lots of stops, it was still demanding on everyone.Anyway, yesterday's walk up into the mountains are in our photo album. Can't write much as this blogsite only takes so much before deleting it all.we will log in again in Scotland. Got fee internet downstown Andalsnes.
