Another great morning walk. Headed the other direction today through the historic district of Shipoke. a quaint neighborhood along the Susquehanna. It has one of the most unique row of houses in Harrisburg called Pancake Row. The decorative moldings are know as carpenter Gothic architectural style and the houses were built around 1880 as rental units for employees of the lumber mill owned by Alfred Pancake.
