Our time in Mallorca is just about up! We are hopefully (if the forecast remains the same) leaving for Sardinia on Monday night, expecting to get there Wednesday or Thursday. We have enjoyed our spate of visitors very very much, and appreciate the effort made to come and see us. Pollensa is a lovely place to have spent some time, however we are ready to move on. We have been on the old Soller train 3 times now, still enjoying it every time I have to say, and driven across the island several times. We are newly kitted out with a liferaft and a parachute sea anchor, and have possibly repaired a window successfully! The next hop will take us out of Spain where we have been since buying the boat, so will be somewhat out of our comfort zone! All those Spanish phrases will become redundant! We have been sitting out some very high winds over the last few days, and will set out on the tail end of them, thankfully any big sea that has built up will be behind us, so should be a comfortable ride.
The only other piece of news really (girls fine, john and I fine) is that I got my favourite ever T-shirt for my birthday (it will only make sense to fans of dirty dancing), it says 'I carried a watermelon'. p.s. John was supposed to post this in Pollenca - we are now in Sardinia current blog to follow soon!
