Hey again all,

Thinking that if I write lots now there wont be all late news later!

Anyway, I did end up scrubbing our place, i had to steal a broom and spray from the kitchen and return it when I was finished, they didnt want to loan it because it wasnt good enough for us.. I just wanted to hurry up and clean...blek. I know wierd if you know me. So know its as clean as it can be.

onto bugs. I found a cockroach in a cupboard and chased it out and killed it. I felt like a hero!! that was our only cockroach so far, as for the bugs.. eeek some windows in our room dont close so when we are in all so bugs come flying in. so in the morning we have a layer of dead bug on the floor. Though we both havent been bitten by a mozzie here yet, so i beleive we are winning this war! Lizards, lizards everywhere, they are sooooo quick. we only had one the other day but last night they were in our room. we wished them away hoping that if we went to sleep they would want to go back out the window. NOT in the morning they were all up behind the aircon. Grrr we are asking how to keep them out... silly pooping machines.

Teaching you ask. As i said not yet, but we have been lesson planning and working out whats what. We were asked yesterday to help the teachers, yes teach teachers. Becuase the science and maths have to be in english now. Mostly everyone can listen and understand great amounts, its their pronuncitation, speaking and conversational skills they lack, thats our job! So we have lots we have to plan.

For the first time form 4 boys came up to me and asked when i am teaching them. YAY, We are only teaching form 2 first and helping the rest. But they are renowned for coming into teachers rooms for lessons at night... hmmm dont know if i want that. I an lacking sleep as it is!!! we have been going to bed at 9.30 to get up at 6.30. but they dont go to bed until earliest 11 when hw is finished and get up at 5.50am for morning prayers... nooooooooooooooooooooo. so we like sleeping!!

I believe i forgot to mention an important part of out bathrooms. They only have one tap for the shower... yes that means cold. looking on the bightside, it is sticky, and cold water does wonders for your hair. try it sometime... no no hot water at all just pure ice... WOOP WOOP.

Kirri, my buddy, played tennis with some of the male teachers yesterday much to their delight. you can imagine how much they carried on when they won a point. we were supried it didnt attract the whole school! well as for me i forgot pant to play so i have to get mum to send them, whoops.

Some of the other gappers are having a ball and others hate it. some got introduced to their school with drumming and dance. we just got welcomed with hand shakes and kisses. fine by me! Alot of the males love talking to us in english and then get all embarrassed if they dont know what to say. Vicious cycle! they are said to have been practising their english before we came.

another fact, muslim tradition says that once you give birth you arent allowed out for 40days, during then you get a massage by an elder every day and get hot wrapped in spices to make the body return to shape. then you arent allowed any more sex for 100days. much to thier dissapointment. Learnt that over lunch!
