Today we travelled to the border of the NT and Western Australia. Our first stop past the border is Lake Argyle, which contains 12 times the water volume than in Sydney Harbour.
We then stopped at the township of Kununarra to grab some lunch from good old Coles and I did a frantic search of the papers to find out who won the FI championship!!! I had no luck however as due to time differences this had not been reported so asked the guy in the sports shop but he wrongly told me Hamilton had to keep the Pommy customer happy!!!
After lunch it was back on the Great Northern Highway to the Bungle Bungles. We wre to spend 2 nights here. We had our own very exclusive Connections camp area here for which tents were already erected which was great!!! I had my own tent as there were few of us for which I am going to make the most of before I get really into the dorm living!!!
On day 3 we visited the scenic sights of the Bungle Bungles including Cathedral Gorge, Echu\idna Charm and the unique Frog Hole.
In the evening we went to see a lovely sunset and feast on the nibbles platter that Rach had prepared.
