Ok so a fair bit to catch up on! been doing loads of traveling around since i last did a post! after my alarm not going off and giving us 20 minutes to get ready and pack a bags we left Cusco on a 6 hour bus trip to Puno with a 15 minute break! was nto the greatest but i have mastered the ability to sleep on buses so time when pretty quickly!

we arrived in Puno which is on the edge of Lake Titikaka, with the the sun shining but we are starving so first stop was somewhere to eat! after we had filled ourselves we went exploring! because there was a Canaval on the streets were buzzing! we found a local market whcih was crazy and full of stores with piles and piles of shoes!

Sunday 22nd Feb

today was a day on the lake! we were gutted to wake up to rain but all stayed positive and packed shorts jsut incase the sun decided to join us! we first visited the Floating island of ugos which were amazing to see as they are make up of reeds! there are 52 of them all together with about 8 families on each!

second stop was a bigger island which i have forgotten the name of which took us 2.5 hours to get to and by this point was was feeling really sea sick and was not in the mood for the 30 minute hike up to the main square! but i made and the views were amazing, we had lunch which was trout, chips and rice looking over the lake.

the boat trip home was smoother but i intended on sleeping the whole way to save myself from feeling ill!

Monday 23rd Feb

today was bye bye Peru and Hello Bolivia! i was sad to be leaving Peru becasue ti is such a lovely country but also excited to be seeing new places! today was full of more traveling we had buses and a boat for the 200 metres which could not be crossed any other way! we set off at 7 and arrived at our hotel at about 5.30! so was a long day!

We arrived in La Paz (highest town in the world) in the Middle of there Canival so it was crazily busy! the streets are packed with people with water pistals cans of foam and water bombs! they are lined with stalls selling crazy outfits and confetti it is something else!

We found this really Quricky restrant and had a lovely meal then we took a taxi to a bar called Mongos i really recommend it! we filled ourselves on shots and cocktails and danced a bit of Salsa and Eglish music was a brilliant evening!

Tuesday 24th Feb

Today we planned to do the Death Road bike trip but becasue of the Canival everything is shut! we were very gutted but there was nothing we could do so had to think of another activity! so in true Kate and Dale fashion we decided that going out drinking on monday night and then a lie in and an aternoon trip to the Valley of the moon! perfect day if you ask me! the Valley of the moon was crazy i am not going to try and describe it you will have to wait for the photos!
