Cusco is beautiful with lots of cobbled streets and steps. i fell in love with Peru when i found out that they grow 200 different types so potatoe, so i have been in heaven as ar as the food goes! i have eaten alpaca and guinea pig and ofcourse lots of POTATOE!!!

today we did a city tour of the inca ruins that are situated around Cusco. there was Saqsayhuaman which means satisfied falcon which dates back to 1500 and is in the structure of a lightning bult. Q'enqo which means zigzag, this was a small runi which is thought to of been where ritual sacrifices where made. Tambonachay which is a inca bath it is said that if you drink the water you will stay young forever. then the last place we visited was Pukapukara which means red fort this was most likely to of been a hunting lodge.
we spent the afternoon lookinf around Cusco trying to by hats and scarfs as we are off to higher altudies tomore where the sun is goig to be even hotter!! we are still suffering with the sunburn but hopefully ti will go down soon! we are covering ourselves in factor 50 every 5 minutes it it not fun!!!
