Hey guys, so we made it to Peru without any problems it was jsut a long journey! the bus to gatwick was slow but by the time i got ther i did not have long to wait till dale turned up with her clang! had a bit of fun trying to work out how to check in then sat around chatting before going into departures! where firstly dale had left her coat with trotts then we got that back and when through the baggage check things! Dale had to be searched( luckily not a strip jobby with a plastic glove!!!) heeehee! we did not have much time to wast till we were on board our flight to Madrid. Only had change to walk through the airport which i have to say is very pretty!! worth a visit haha!

It took us ages to board the next flight as the plane was so big!! Dale made me wear the flight sockas and i have to say we did get some funny looks!!!! i slept for a fair bit of the flight and ate for the rest even though we are not hungry they kept giving us food and it seemed like something to do!!

on arivel in Lima we has a little panic that our bags had not made it but with some positive thoughts mine arrived with dales following shortly! we then changeds some pennies to Peru sole! and then had to hand in a declares form and press a button and it randomly picks people to have there luggage checked!! yep i got mine check!

we met the guy who was giving us a lift to the hotel and on leaving the airport the heat hit us! ti was very humid! the taxi ride was an experience in its self i am not quite sure how the roads work but we made it to the hotel in one piece so we were happy! the hotel is very posh nto what we were expecting but is nice not to the slumming it! we got to our room at 9pm which was 2 in the moring to us so we jsut died!

thursday 13th feb

we went exploring and out for breakfact! it was very over cast so did not even think about sun cream!!! big mistake! after breakfast we went to Huaca Pucllana which is Inca pyramids! which you randonly stumble across in the middle of the city! photos to follow!

we then walked down to the beach which we were not brave enough to swim it as it looked gross and was very choppy! so we jsut sat and chilled with the sea breeze!

burnt ourselves stupid so sent the evening aftersunning and feeling sorry for ourselves!

Friday 14th Feb

Decided on a nothing much day so went out for breakfast and then sat in the park reading! trying to stay in the shade as we are hurting! we have now about to meet everyone on the tour and get going on our adventures! we are both very excited and ready to leave Lima in the morning for Cuzco!
