Last weekend we headed down to Shirahama for a weekend of beach-football (a simplified version of rugby/american football) and barbecuing with the boys.

As I had never played beach-football before, I was expecting a weekend of fun and games - but instead it turned out to be a big and serious tournamet (Although for us it was fun and games!). It was a fun experience, with teams of untrained players (us!) playing alongside all-girls teams, professional rugby players and serious beach football teams. The white beaches of Shirahama and the warm water of the pacific ocean set an amazing scenery for this great weekend!

The seven of us (out team) had rented a huge house for the weekend and had a great time barbecuing and drinking at night. We had left the barbecue shopping to the japanese boy's - and they ended up buying almost nothing but beer and meat! As it turns out - boys are boys no matter where in the world they come from (Allthough they needed good danish experience in lighting a great barbecue!)
