Well Welcome back and Namaste
So yesterday i managed to find my own way to Boudnath was very chuffed i managed it without getting too lost!! Its maybe only a 15 min walk from Ngima's home so i think i will be visiting there very often!! So peaceful and calm great for watching the world go by! So i spent maybe 3 hours there which seemed to fly by. After you have walked round a few times and turned all the prayer wheels time passes fast! i went and had lunch at a roof top view resturant the prices was a bit high but worth it as you could watched everyone walking around and going by there daily praying. I brought a bag with the eyes of the stupa on for 350 rp (3.50) and also some prayer beads 250rp (2.50) i could not risist. Then i ripped off which was pooey but i can not tell you about that as the thing that ripped me off is a gift for all you lovely people!! Then when i was just about to leave i caught the eye of a monk. After a min he walked over and asked my name we introduced and chatted for a while before he ask would i like to have tea with him. I thought why not!! so we went to a small cafe just next to the stupa i had black tea he milk tea... we chatted for a while he was maybe 35 and 20 years ago fled from tibet and lives in india. He is on holiday here for 3 months to learnm english. He asked if i wanted to go to him home for lunch i diclined as i have to meet havi at 2:30 but i felt bad turning down a monk... But i hear you should be a little courious of what there intentions are i no they would never hurt you but sometimes they want money, sponsers or to come to england... he said he likes to talk to tourists to practice his english??? Anyway i said goodbye and thanks for the tea... And headed home. I then walked to Sujans and after asking a very kind man in a shop i found it! his mother gave me a picture from the other day of me and his sister which was a lovely gesture!!
i had a cup of tea before me and sutchin headed out to meet with havi (everyone calls him harry reminds me of little harry james) we took a local bus to there meeting cafe it a place where his friend group meet everyday to socilise chat and catch up. Then we all headed out to catch 2 more mini buses to Patan. Once there we wandered down the busy market street as normal nearly getting killed by bikes and cars driving down too. Eventually after another tea (well needed for havi who was very tired and not had his usual 5 cups of tea!) we chatted alot about the difference in ralationships in uk and Nepal its mind boggeling for me !! Anyhoo we arrived at durber sq and i payed my 200rps to enter and he headed to the temple of love and alough i could not go in i did a little pray that i would find love again (hopefully soon) as did Sutchin and Havi. Then we sat there for 30 mins and waited for Barhavi then we headed on a local bus back to the cafe.
At the cafe i met lots of sujans friends they where all so nice Money(his nickname) is havi's brother and we chatted for ages about this and that he was a big beatles fan so of course i tole him the story of paul and my kiss!
Then we walked back to ngima's house where Kensome cooked dal batt for tea! after this i headed to bed. So that brings me to now today i am going again with havi to Bhaktapur its expensive to enter but apparently well worth a look!! many temples and historical building little traffic!! and clean which will be a bonus!!
Well as always missing you all
