Merry Christmas!!
Who says Xmas is just for kids?? I'm well up for it! We've got decorations up and everything. But the problem is, we can't get them to stay up. We brought some very cheap Xmas lights earlier in the week, and a few nights ago they decided to fall down when we were asleep. The problem was that Roomy was directly underneath these lights and they've got some sharp edges to 'em! lol... all I remember is being woken up (again enjoying another little dream) by a girlish squeal :-). He's ok though, that bruise will soon disappear.
The weathers been a bit crazy this week, I'm sure it was warmer in the UK on a few days. We went to Malua Bay which is an awesome beach watching people surf...that was cool. Though we thought we could surf those waves better. Then it decided to get cold the next few days and it even rained (not impressed!) but we finally went to see the new Bond, great film. But I did feel for him at the end...that sort of treatment on the crown jewels has gotta hurt. When we got back, I even considered going for a run. I said considered though. I bottled it, Xmas is about relaxing and having too much food! The second day of rubbish weather, we went to Old Mogo, which is a famous Gold Mining Town and did the tour. We even panned for Gold, hoping for an early Xmas present or even a little something to put in the stocking. Didn't happen! We then went on a Bush Trail and after a good 45 minutes and thinking we were on the right trail...we were lost! I thought we were on 'Im a Celebrity' or something. We were starting to get a little worried, but then we found a road. We somehow managed to go completely the wrong direction...good work!
We've been making use of that Cricket Set we brought too, we've even recruited some fielders for when we play. Its brilliant because if we're feeling a bit lazy (which is all the time) we just give them a call. Youngsters have so much energy! Then on Friday it was really really hot again! So we made the most of it and got by the pool and topped those tans up again. My Chest (or belly) is still very burnt. With Xmas tomorrow we've all brought eachother presents! So at least I'l be opening something up so cheers boys. We went out on Friday too but Batemans Bay is the sort of place where everyone knows everyone. But it was OK, we spoke to a few 'locals' and had a little dance again. Me and Roomy even stupidly decided to walk back instead of pay for a taxi. The things you do when u've had one too many! It took in the region of an hour...at least I burned off all that alcohol :-). So thats about it, hope everyone has a great day! We need to get our BBQ food in now...so hopefully theres some left. If not its Tuna Sandwiches all round.
