Deborahs journey
We got up early today so we could go on a walk through the Fiordland NP. we wanted to walk some of the Kepler track which takes 3-4 days to complette. we obviuosly were only going to do a small section of the track. after walking to the control gates of the dam the track begins through the forest and goes around the lake. it was a flat walk but was all the same scenary so wasnt the best views. we walked to Brod bay had some lunch here but it was really cold so soon walked back. it took us 5 hours to complete the walk and was about 14km in all. later in the afternoon we went to the cinema to see Ata Whenua which is a short film filmed by a guy in a heliopter and shows all the seasons of Fiordland and it was amazing. the waterfalls were huge and the amount of snow of the mountains and the clear water with the reflection. and a good thing to see before going to Milford sound tomorrow
