Me and Max took a three day tour around the outback. We were in a group of 20, driven in a minibus and camping underneath the star. Today was probably my highlight of the trip. We passed a small yard and building saying 'Kangaroo Rescue Centre- $5 to hold the Joeys!!!!!!!!! The guy runs the place as a charity and is looking after 7 baby roo's at the moment (mums hit by cars). I got to hold two different Joeys about 7 months old, most of the roos were jumping around the yard, but liked jumping in pillowcases and being held (like in the pouch)!!!!

We hired a campervan on a special relocation offer starting in Cairns for 10 pounds a day. The camper had a gas hob, toilet, shower, seating area and bed above the driver bit, bargin!! The drive to Alice Springs was 2400km/ 1440 miles from 11am thursday to 3pm sunday cost us quite abit in diesel. Still Max enjoyed driving it.
