Just a little note after cooking a wonderful meal at our hostel in El Calafate, and enjoying the view of the expansive Lago Argentina (see blog photo) while drinking the only beer with any flavor in the country made right down the street that we have really enjoyed reading everyone's comments on the blogs and photos. Unfortunately the website doesn't really allow us to respond to comments directly, but we just wanted to let everyone know that we have been reading them often and to keep them coming. To address a few of the comments: penguins are pretty cool with you being within a few feet, but they will bite a finger off without too much of a problem; the water in Torres Del Paine is some of the best in the world and you can lap it up right out of the stream without consequence; and we are both having an amazing time.
