Woke up refreshed after a great nights sleep - NOT. Awake most of the night with jet lag.
Interesting breakfast using up leftovers. The hotel fruit basket was on the turn so we ate an orange, a kiwi, a mango and a dragon fruit. So messy a shower was required. Also polished off the free almond cookie that appeared to be made from pressed dust it was so dry.
Lunchtime by our truly amazing pool. David even tried the kids slide.
Off for more exploring. Grand Lisboa hotel (or Grand Lesbo as David insists) very posh coffee shop. Finally a nice coffee with some dim sum. Then off for the Macau delicacy of egg custard.tarts. They were fabulous.
After a bit more historic culture we did a loop of our local posh casinos. We've done Vegas and they were up there in terms of wow. Wynn had dancing fountains complete with flames to a local pop tune but the MGM beat them with a giant fish tank in a sugar pink iced square. (See blog photo)
Vietnamese for tea then back to the MGM bar for Live music and a lively night out which turned out quiet but expensive. Relocated to the Sands casino to enjoy cocktails and dancing firstly by some leggy Eastern European ladies, followed by Latin American lovelies, David does like a Brazilian show.
