Decided to immerse ourselves in the local culture. Big day spending Yvonne's birthday money on a trip to Hong Kong Disneyland. It even has its own train stop and themed metro train. We thought we would be the only unsupervised adults but we had forgotten about the Japanese love of Disney. It's popular with Indians too.
We let the side down wearing normal holiday clothes. There were more Asian Minnie Mouse and Frozen princesses than you could count. The shopping was even by HK standards impressive with people actually wheeling suitcases around the park to cope with all their stuff.
Exhausting time riding everything from the scary roller coasters to the spinning teacups. David insisted on three goes of the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. The haunted house had him squealing like a little girl. David would like to point out that he squeals like a big hairy bloke.
We stayed until the bitter end seeing both the parade and the fireworks. So tired that we passed up the free champagne ladies night at our local in favour of a bed picnic and Top Gear on the tv.
