Today we headed off with the plan to go to the Olga's, but as we got to the gate of the National Park, the aboriginal guide behind the counter told us the climb up the rock was open, only the second time in 3 weeks due to being closed for high winds, so a quick change of plans and off to the rock for the climb.
Neil, Tanya and Melanie decided to climb the rock, with Sharon, Terry and Joanna opting to walk around it. 10.6 km's.
While we were on the rock we discovered some very rare creatures, Shields Shrimp, which were about 40mm long and living in about 20mm of water in a nearly dried up hole at the top of the rock
Both started our trek at around 1030 am with Terry and crew getting back to the cars 20 minutes before we came down off the rock.
Had lunch at the cultural centre followed by a quick tour of the centre and then back to camp for a nice dinner of creamy chicken mustard casserole by Tanya.
