Hey all,
Just a quick update... I have some major catching up to do on here. Blogs still to go up include a ridiculous journey down the river on lilos in Taupo; White water rafting; a rather entertaining fancy dress evening (with a 'P' theme) and finally an 8 hour glacier hike (yesterday).
Right now we've got to Wanaka on the West Coast of the South Island. We've been with our new bus since the start of the week and after a slow start (admittedly after the lively group we had on our last bus it was always going to be hard for this one to match up!) the Kiwi Experience is right back on track.
We're psyched to be going skiing tomorrow near Wanaka, at a place called Treble Cone where 45% of the slopes are classed as ADVANCED! It should be a good laugh for Josh & Shil as beginners... especially with me busy trying quickly to remember everything I was taught in my many years of ski school, so that I can pass on these pearls of wisdom! It's going to be an epic day.
Tonight spells trouble with the group in a buoyant mood after half the team went Skydiving over Franz Josef today (Shil, Josh & I not included) which meant that they barely drank yesterday to celebrate the hike. As per usual, we filled in for their lack of effort on the drinking front! Tonight's theme at the hostel bar is NEON, so I'm already anticipating waking up tomorrow with neon face paint smudged all over my pillow. Nice!
Next stop (after skiing) is Queenstown and all the adrenaline fuelled adventures that comes with it. I've currently got my eyes set on the 134m Nevis bungy and not sure what the next challenge will be after that...
Life's tough! New blogs soon.
Over and out.

Keri O'Donoghue and Libby Page Slow start? Pfffft. I'll have you know we drank a fair amount the night before our sky dive thanks to you lot and Matt's drinking games. Ha. X
