Hello from Queenstown...
We pulled in about an hour ago and are ready for the most ridiculous 5 days ever (give or take a few) in the adrenaline capital of the world. On my way I booked myself into the 134m Nevis Bungy for tomorrow at 2:30 and I'm half majorly psyched, half bricking it... CANNOT wait!
As for everything else... we're looking forward to some lugeing; monster-trucking and probably some more skiing after first-timer Shil caught the skiing bug on the slopes yesterday. It's gonna be a busy few days, especially when you add to that the necessary trips to world-renowned Fergburger (supposedly the best burger in NZ); Frankenburger (our bus driver's controversial favourite) and MacDo for an all too necessary family box which Josh & I have been craving... then add to that the bars...
Another bonus is that we have finally caught up with the guys and gals on our original bus, just in time to celebrate Joe's birthday tonight. It will be one hell of a reunion, and there are more freindly faces still to arrive in Queenstown. We cannot wait.
We'll be staying static for as long as possible but we're hoping that a couple of day trips - to either ski slopes or Millford Sound - will keep us on the move during the day before heading back for the epic Queenstown nightlife.
Over and out
