After getting all his required information together and then speaking with his bosses, Jase needed to return to the China Asia Expo to do some more background work today.
All that took a while and it was after 9am when we finally got the train to Central to get out to the Expo site.
We spent about 5 hours finding the different businesses we needed to see and getting all the info and then after a quick late lunch we caught the train back to city for a much needed break.
I skyped home and chatted to Mumsie and Katie, then washed out some shirts - it is so humid here and although we have been in the air-con at the shows the walk to and from the station is enough to make our clothes very sweaty - then had a shower and got changed.
Caught the train down to Causeway Bay to see if we could find some shops etc. to have a look at and found the new Times Square Mall which is 12 levels of up market shops, lots of specialty shops and 3 levels of restaurants. Wow! We spent a couple of hours browsing, looking at all the beaut electronic shops etc. finding that prices are only a little cheaper than home for most things. Phones are a fair bit cheaper because all the handsets are unlocked and you can buy any model and then sign for a plan if you wish!
Clothes were plentiful and all names brands were available - mostly 10 or 20 bucks cheaper than at home - and the whole place was shiny new and spotlessly clean.
In the end the long day of walking got the better of us, so we chose a nice western style restaurant and had a fantastic meal before getting the train home. Great way to finish the day!
