Today we headed off to a farmers market in Whitney which was crap (about 6 stalls). So quickly off to Wallingford (where Kaye and Barry stayed) and had lunch then wandered the town. Very pretty and historical village from Saxon times and we could have spent more time there. But onto Henley on Thames where they are in full swing preparation for the Regatta next week. It is a very beautiful town especially along the river but also back in the high streets but of course all the focus in around the river and lots of boat crews were out on the Thames for practise. Could have spent more time here also but needed to head back to Bampton. Down to the pub for a drink and dinner them home for iPad updates.
Probably head over for a Cotswold villages drive tomorrow and Deirdre is coming over tomorrow night to have dinner, stay the night and take us back to Amport for the day after we drop the hire car off in Oxford on Sunday morning.
Holiday is coming to an end very quickly but it will be good to get home
Alan is going to wake up at 5am in the morning to watch the Crows on the iPad beat Gold Coast (I hope)
