Interesting night last night. Josh rang at 11pm to say Maisy was worse and was unable to walk properly and in pain. Spent the morning watching the Crows beat St Kilda live on the IPad then Kaye and Barry arrived for lunch. Shared a plough mans platter for lunch and some wine and lots of chat about their trip which has gone really well. You guessed it - a repeat of the last few days but lunch at a different pub - this time the Black Swan (Mucky Duck) in Monxton the village right next to Amport. At every pub I have tried a different English ale and enjoyed them all. Looking forward to Kaye and Barry coming tomorrow - having a traditional ploughmans lunch at Deirdres and then show them around the village with its thatched cottages and beautiful gardens Until tomorrow.

Another relaxing day in the countryside. After a morning walk through the green paddocks we went to a massive plant nursery so Deirdre and Wendy could buy their plants to pot for the summer. Deirdres birthday today so she slept in while we entertained the guests who came with cards to wish her happy birthday.
