Deirdres birthday today so she slept in while we entertained the guests who came with cards to wish her happy birthday.
Walked through the village this morning then off to the Mayfly Pub for lunch outside with a touch of blue sky
Back at the cottage now and Deirdre has friends coming over for a drink this evening then we will have a ploughmans platter for dinner and a fairly early night
Never tire of the green countryside, thatched cottages in the village and serenity of it all - a good relaxing way to start our holiday
