Only one night in Lisbon that wasn´t planned, but it was a hell of a time! Traci and I were supposed to leave on an overnight train to meet Priscilla in Barcelona, but the train was booked. We were stuck in Lisbon, but made the best of it. After roaming around for about an hour, we came across one odd little old man in a building that we thought was a hotel. First, he was mad at us for entering his building when it said it was closed (in Portuguese of course), but after we asked for help, he laughed and told us we were snails!! SNAILS!!! Because we had our homes on our backs!! HAHAHA!! Eventually we found a place to sleep for the night, and don´t worry, the c*** roaches slept down the hall so we were safe!! ew! That night, we had Mickey D´s for dinner and went dancing at the Hard Rock Cafe! How American of us! Oh well, it was a lot of fun! The next day was spent checking out the sights in Lisbon. They had a castle on the top of a hill, which overlooked the whole city and the river running next to it... it was beautiful!

One tip, try not to take the over night trains in Portugal! The overnight train we took out of their to Madrid had bed bugs that feasted on my body and I only got 1 hour of sleep that night! It was pretty gross!
