We made it to Oxford today and are here for 2 nights before we go to Birmingham on Monday. We are enjoying the hostel here and there is a pet bird here which is cool :) he is a cool dude.

There was one stroppy lady on the train who we put in her place. Heaps of people got on the train in Reading and we were in the process of moving our bags so people could sit down when she thought she would put in her (seriously unwanted) 2 cents and tell us that the seats were for people to sit on not to put our bags on. We told her that we were actually told to put them there as there were no luggage racks on the train and "Thanks for your input". People here don't seem to do the sarcasm thing so much so not sure whether or not she got it... There was a nice lady though who put up with the lack of space and offered to help us. We gave her daughter the McDonalds toy we got from the happy meal at Paddington Station.

Anywho... Went to stonehenge the other day. It is a bunch of rocks. Yup. It was raining and really cold so we think we spent more time in the gift shop than actually looking at Stonehenge.

Yesterday (on our last day in London) we went to the Michael Jackson exhibition at the O2 and then got photos outside the Globe Theatre (we were too budget to go in). We went to Apsley House and Wellington Arch in the afternoon and saw the NZ and Australian war memorials at Hyde Park corner. I'll let Lynnie explain about the MJ exhibition... it was awesome heaps of MJ's outfits, achievements, possessions, and much more were on display. We weren't allowed to take photos but it was still very cool.

Yesterday we walked over the millennium bridge - it was so cold but a nice view.

Even though we had fun in London we are glad to be out of the mayhem of the 10.2 million people (it was too much for us).

We cooked veges for tea tonight which was a nice change from the rubbish we have been eating.

Tomorrow we are going on a bus tour of Oxford and then packing up to go to Birmingham!
