Another wonderful day here, Thursday, last of September. I have read your blogs but have not had time yet to do the same with the photos. The dog looks OK though. Bella is well but has developed a hatred for Mimi- a labradoodle in Steeles Lane, so walking past each morning is interesting. Mimi hates Belle too, so I expect her to come through the window daily. Roger and I are at our art classes this week and next and are both exhausted by the evening. How are you coping with the heat? Are you affected by tiredness or is it only an age related thing? You certainly seem to be packing as much into your time there as you can. Who provides the hospital treatment in such a poor country- is that charity based or social responsibility? I hope the temple visit is interesting. I read a report that Ankar Wat is being destroyed by the number of visitors but I don't suppose many visitors get to your area. lots of photos please. Have fun and speak to you soon

Hi Jenny,
Drove past your house today and wondered how things are in Cambodia. Will read through your blog. What food do you have access to is it rice, rice and more rice with fish on a good day! Had a good holiday in Italy. Of the 20 in the group only 9 were from the UK. The party included five Russians, ! Romanian lady who was a construction engineer, 2 from Canada and another two from the States and a lady from Israel so there were some interesting conversations. On Sunday going to Sicily. Hope you are not finding some of the problems of poverty too difficult and are enjoying the experience. Love and best wishes Anne

HI Jenny
Real urgent re laptop. Got this advice form guys at PC World.
Please turn on laptop and as soon as you see the DELL sign appear press F12 key.
This should bring up options, and one of these is called Diagnostics. Run this and wait until it finishes.
There should be an error code at that point. Please send me the error code.
I will then speak to Dell so that they can say what it means. Hopefully we can then solve the problem.
When you bought the laptop did you get Standard Warranty or Extended Warranty?

Hi Jenny. Just read all your blogs and looked at the photos, makes me realise how very lucky we all are here, no matter what life throws at us!!! Take care x

Hello Jen. Friday lunchtime and the weather has changed from an Indian summer to an autumn day- grey and overcast, wet and cold. All animals are tucked up inside on beds and sofas, curled up warmly, and I am thinking that it might be time to fish out a thicker cardi. Got your email ths morning and have spoken to David and Liz who are leaving tomorrow. Your details will be sent to me incidently so that I can deal with things while they are away.
I seem to have missed you on skype this week so I trust that all is well with you and you are still enjoying yourself. Keep the photos and messages coming through. It seems as if you have beeen away for ages but I see that another two months are still left. Are you missing life in the UK or is it too exciting where you are to think of us all. Have a good weekend and hope to see you soon over the video

Hi. Went and windy in shropshire tonight.
David had car at Dave Hansons having MOT so got talking to Joyce, Jane fell over broke leg in 2 places had to have it pin and plated in 2 places, then plastered, sent home noticed blood running through plaster went back to hospital leg had been plastered in the wrong position which had pulled all the stitches out, so had to have it re sutured and replastered.
Sheila and Harry going to be Grandparents, Helen the eldest has just told them she is 10weeks pregnant.
Sounds like a lot of atheletes pulling out of the commonwealth games, so far a bridge has collapsed, the accomodation filthy,Scottish Team have delayed flying out, New Zealand thinking of withdrawing altogether. Bit of a diaster really, especially when they train long and hard for these events.
Now after midnight work again in the morning so will sign off. Keep putting photos on, fascinating to look at.
Take care..

It was great chatting to you the other day. Your looking well. Our weather the last few days has been wonderful and warm. Gravesend was the hottest yesterday with around 23 c today reaching around 25, sadly tomorrow is all down hill. A bit like me really. Spoke to Libby and Linda and plans are afoot.
Nicole showed her class your pictures and one child said to me afterwards that we could raise money to buy them some bricks to help build houses for them. He came back today and said he asked his grt gran if she would bake big cake for a sale.
Talking about photos.Just looked at latest and funnily enough there was a food prog on Channel 4 and they cooked pig's cheek to make a rissotto. Apparently it needs to slow cook for hours but is very tasty!!!!!!!!
Take care and hopefully talk soon xxx

Hi Jenny
Just seen latest photographs and am amazed at the sights; something to look forward too in a couple of weeks. I guess we are nearly ready but still much to do, if that is not a contradiction! Flight seats organised and now looking at the packing, clothes, cameras and laptop, and so on! Can we keep bags below 90 kgs (ps only joking!)
How's the rain/weather etc? Here we have a sort of early autumn weather, not too hot but reasonably dry and sunny.
Will send details of flights into Siem Reap next week.

Haven't done a great deal this weekend, weather much cooler and some showers but it has dried all jacks washing just needs the ironing doing.
