Hope all is well with you. Sunday lunch guests have now all gone home and Belle has been walked. Masses of Sikh football players on the green which was a surprise but made a change from cricketers. Much colder days here but fine and sunny- good washing drying days. Finished the last of the Runner Beans and Courgettes but a few tomatoes still to go, plus one bag of potatoes, and of course the Jerusalem Artichokes. Adult ed. classes begin tomorrow so summer is now over.
Enjoyed reading your news and seeing all the photos. It's another world. How will you cope on returning? Heard today on the radio of a woman doing similar in Paraquay, where poverty is rife and no-one even knows she said. The Pope is due to return to his stately state tonight and although he seems to be a genuine man, who can believe in what he stands for? Poverty on the one hand and riches beyond compare on the other- how just is that?
Stay safe and well and will talk soon I'm sure. All well here and everyone sends their love.

Hello Jenny, hope all is well with you. Things here very much the same as usual. Weather can't seem to make its mind up, bright sunshine but a definate nip in the air.
Michelle popped in with Myles and Heidi, he has lost his baby look and is a proper little boy now, and Heidi has so much hair. Cheryl only has 7 weeks until her baby due, it seems to have come round quickly.
Take care, stay safe Doreen xx

Hi Jenny hope this finds you well. I have been about on my travels to Hempstead Valley and Chatham again and last time I bumped into Dave and Michelle, this time Mandy Toombs, remember, blonde hair Y3 for a while. Anyway, she is now a deputy head and her daughter is now 13! She hasn't changed one bit, was asking after you and was really interested in what you are doing so I said I would pass on this address, hope that's ok.
Quite liking this bus thing, I am meeting people, which is a pleasant change from the 4 walls and my Shirley Valentine impression. Take care, talk soon x

Just back from my first NADFAS- Dogs in Art lecture- very interesting. Did you know that Labradors were only introduced into England in the early 1900's. In fact, only the rich had dogs originally, used for hunting, chasing and bringing down prey so three different types of dog. And next month I will be able to tell you some interesting facts about the Austrian painters! Cultured or what! I can't wait for you to tell me more about your days. Love from all.
Hope you are well and not doing too much. Heather

Our news is so full of the government's spending cuts and the tax fiasco you become so wrapped up in your own short falls you forget about these commuities that seem to manage with so little. the pictures are amazing though the stuff turtles made me go yuk. it must be difficult to remain detached and not give all your money away when you see how some of them live. I will add my voice to Heather's and remind you NOT to over work and to pace yourself. I'm glad your time there is rattling along .
Heather
Just seen your latest photos- it all looks very exciting. I love the markets and the people look so beautiful and happy, given the conditions they have survived and are surviving. I'm glad you are atill enjoying yourself, but take care and don't do too much. Is that possible?

Again, eye opening photos, hope things are not too much to manage, and you are coping ok. Please make sure you get as much rest as you can, its such an experiance and it would be a shame if you missed anytime due to ill health. You must see different things everyday and I am looking forward to hearing all about it. Take care stay safe xx

Just got your email- many thanks. I am keeping everything in a file, well a plastic envelope actually, with the intention of making all emails into a book but who knows? My best laid plans rarely take fruit I'm afraid. I don't like the sound of your 'not feeling well' Jen. You know how low you get when you overwork, so take it easy please. You are too far away to become ill. I am looking forward to hearing of your weekend's trip to the other school project. It will be interesting to compare them. I'm rather surprised at the naughty boys part of your school life. I suppose I thought that everyone would be wanting to learn and therefore easier than UK kids to teach. Do you have to do as much preparation, marking etc?
Enjoy your weekend way and don't do too much! B sends her love. Heather
