Sorry for the brief talk yeasterday- all this technology is too much for me- you on skype and then a phone call! Weather dire this morning- black and over cast but Belle charged around madly chasing who knows what? She has taken to rushing up to the gate and barking bravely during her last minute going out session- just as if she is a real dog guarding her property. I have never seen anything there but cannot prove that she isn't chasing off intruders either. The exhibition finished in triumph and we spent the last two days in recovery. To Bluewater this morning-Ugh- but I need to make a kilt for a 34" waist into one for a 44" waist for the CADS play and this involves LOTS MORE fabric, and the need to learn my lines is becoming urgent. It seems I lurch from one frenzied period to the next. I am also due to begin NADFAS next week- how cultured is that! I managed to look at your latest photos, which all look wonderful. How do you keep clean in the rain and mud? I can't believe that so much time has passed and you seem so settled there. At least you seem to be enjoying yourself. I'll try to catch up with you before your weekend away. How's the weight?

Hi Jenny,
There you are, doing good and teaching and sharing and here I am, playing 'bouncing balls' on the pc all day.
Different strokes for different folks!

Hi Jennifer
From wet shropshire, I think America has sent some of the wet weather over to the UK following hurricaine earl. Very dark and dank early tonight it feels like the middle of winter.
Even more depressing ,christmas cards and wrapping paper in the shops ,i guess as soon as the wedding is over it will then only be 4 weeks till christmas.
Jack packed and ready for the off, taxi collecting them at 0730 to take the to Heathrow for 1410 flight to JFK they are all looking forward to it, they have tickets booked to go to a soccer match and also a baseball match cannot remember whose playing but Thierry Henry who use to play for Arsenal is playing for one of the teams.
Just finished weekend of on calls very busy at present worked 14hrs on friday getting home near 2300hrs so just enjoyed a glass of wine,
Meriel back off holiday now so will show her the blog. Her and Malcolm have been to the Ribble Valley and then to Wales in the camper van took Bod along as well thoroughly enjoyed themselves, her neice is getting married this weekend in Aberdovey on the beach (not quite the carribean) so hoping the weather has picked up by then.
Went to see about my bike tonight, gone for a service at Halfords might be cheaper to buy a new one than pay the repair prices so just waiting for them to phone with the extent of the problems, Davids probably only needs a new wheel (somewhat cheaper)
Now 0010 so must finish as need sleep
Take care

Good to talk to you yesterday, even though I could hear the downpour. Conditions there seem to be grim - is that normal for this time of year? The weather here is about to change and it does seem to be cloudoing over, much as promised, but nothing like you are experiencing I am sure. Do you get a fall in school attendance during the rainstorms? Is it still hot during them or do you get a fall in temperature at all? Love from us here- all well with B

Just replied to your blog- Thursday 3,30 UK time. I have managed to download some of your photos but am amazed at how drab things look. Is it colourful in reality? Here autumn flowers are just blooming and colour is flooding back into the hedgrows, but in your photos the only hint of anything other than green is in the clothing worn. You say you have seen your wedding dress but who are you marrying?
