Today we were meant to see the Grand Palace and all the tourist attractions but we saw them on our first day here so essentially we had a free day.. So we took the morning at a leisurely pace by starting at around 9. We headed to the tailors by tuk tuk, standard, so a 15 minute drive around the city for less than 2 pounds, just a bargain.... We are both gutted to be leaving Cambodia as it was such a wonderful place,.. last night we had a farewell leaving meal then headed for the rooftops for the highest bar in Cambodia, only 4 stories as there is a limit but still, the fact remains.... Wow, so today started pretty early, 6am as we were off to the Angkor Wat temple, which with the amount of tourists that were there, it's a good job we did set out early... What a day! Today we saw the sunrise in Phnom Penh and the sunset in Siem Reap. We got up at 4.45am to walk down to Mekong river and watch the sunrise. At first we were worried because it was a bit cloudy but after about half an hour waiting, we realised it was well worth our wait! The view was stunning and we got some great pics.
