Hi All!

Eventually after a LONG 9.30 hour flight have landed in Beijing! the flight itself was all ok, flew by!! with a couple of films and some nice grub we were soon landing! when we got off we prepared ourselves with our sunglasses at the ready for a 22 degrees at 9 am to meet a muggy, dry, smoggy Beijing.

For two quid we caught the shuttle train across the city for 35 minutes (better than 6 quid to the mall ey mum Lock??) We then had to learn (quickly I may add) how to cross the road Chinese style! but its all a learning curve!

Even though the address of our hotel was in Chinese not many cab drivers knew where to go! also tried over charge buy a whopping 90 CNY! but we had the wits about us!

We're both really excited to get underway but first things first, Daws needs to catch up on sleep, and have a shower (sweaty is an understatement!!) the hotel looks nice, heres to the next stage!
