Hello from St. Kilda

So this is just going to be a quick entry as we are exhausted and wanting to go to bed....but cant have people thinking we haven't made it to Melbourne yet (it has been over a week since we left Sydney).

We have settled into our flat in St. Kilda, about 30 minutes outside the city by tram. We are in quite a nice street next to all the shops and transport and the beach is on our doorstep. We are finding it much easier to get around and have already mastered the trams and buses. The city is huge...full of shops, malls and bars. We have even managed to catch a concert, Gillians favourite band from back home playing the weekend after we got here....they were awesome! We have both also managed to meet up with some friends from Claire's Europe contiki tour and from Gillian's time on the Disney cruise liner.

I think the main thing to tell you all is that we have both managed to get a job...working for Aussie Farmers, selling and promoting their products....basically bringing the milkman (or in our case, milkwoman) back to Australia. We are getting trained up tomorrow and we start work on Monday! We will let you know how it goes.

So we are settling in quite nicely here in Melbourne and are much happier than we were in Sydney. We will upload pics of our new home in the next few days.
