Osaka - Much like Tokyo but smaller. We had an awesome nights karaoke, the Japanese love a bit of karaoke (pronounced kah rah oh kay, otherwise they don't understand). Other than that we visited a few markets went to more of those hectic disgustingly loud amusements then left for Kyoto.

Kyoto - Lovely city, more touristy than Tokyo and Osaka. Visited a lot of temples, the Golden Temple is very impressive, although just as long was spent looking at the carp in the water surrounding it (they were actually really good too). Then when we got back some girls asked where they could find carp so we knew where to send them, they could also see the temple, bonus.
On the last day we rode bikes up a massive hill in the rain looking for another temple but didn't find it. What a let down. Then went out for dinner with the prementioned girls, our friendship with them was cut short when Freddy said (to the girl who loves animals and has a rescue dog) "I'd rather stamp on a dogs head than rescue it." That made for a funny if not awkward dinner.
