Puno is a town on the shore of the huge lake Tititicaca. We arrived in Puno and had to say goodbye to the amazing Soledad who had been our guide through her native Bolivia and say hello to Joanna who would be our guide through her native Peru. Our first night in Puno coincided with Flo's birthday so after a little cake presentation and sing song we headed out into town to celebrate! About a minute from the hotel the sky's opened and rain came down in quiet ridiculous volume soaking us to the bone so we jumped into the nearest restaurant for some scram and to dry off. Post dinner and still soggy we wound up in an empty club and to say we had a merry old time is an understatement and being one of the more responsible elder members of the group decided to show the kids how it was done... now by all accounts I may have slightly over done it on the sambucca but not having much memory of events that followed I will continue to deny it to the hilt : ) The following morning and a little fuzzy we headed off for our boat tour of the lake and homestay.
