Al's Big Adventure
Having woken up bright as a button on Christmas day (which can't be said for the rest of the group) and having made a few calls home it was time for us to make our way to BA coach station for a festive 20hr journey to Bariloche... Happy Christmas : ) It was also time for another sad fair well to the amazing Aussie girls Lauren (who was flying home) and Jo (who was staying on in BA) who waved us of from the hotel. As a Christmas treat we upgraded to a 'Full Cama' coach (normally means a bit more space, movies, seat reclines a bit further and they serve food and drinks). As you can see from the pic Christmas lunch consisted of 2 ham and cheese croissants which was lets say alternative.

Jane Ching That will teach you to desert your family on Christmas Day and leave them to take over the cooking of the turkey etc.! Must say I hope the croissants tasted somewhat better than they look in this pic Al. Hope 'post christmas 'fayre has improved, and white water rafting was fun.
Heather As the mother of one of your travelling companions (Cool Cat) I have been invited to read your blog and can only agree with your mum re Christmas desertions. Glad to hear of all the fun you guys have had and we look forward to meeting you one day here in NZ, and, thanks for looking out for my daughter on her travels. Catherine used to love croissants but gather she has had more than her fill of them on this holiday. She's meeting her new group shortly for the Inca leg of her trip - suffice to say it doesnt sound as tho they will be the adventure seekers she met amongst you lot! Best wishes, Heather (the Cat's Mother..)
