Day 3, 1st day in Kuala Lumpur.
I have now arrived in Kuala Lumpur at a really cool hostel in Central Kuala Lumpur called Equator.
Its really cool here (not in a tempreture sense!) and has some resident lizard type things that just crawl around the walls. Its cheap (3 quid a night with breakky) and clean, where I share a smallish bunkbed room with 3 other backpackers. I have met so many laid back people here, everyone is friendly to everyone and most people are also travelling on there own.
Today I did not really do that much, I had to get up at 6am local time today to catch the train from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. That was a 7 hour journey that passed some of the most amazing scenery I have ever seen! Went through mainly Jungle and Palm Tree plantations.
I had a nap when I arrived at 4pm local time. But not before I had to endure the most useless taxi driver, who dropped me off no where near the hostel! and trust me, walking best part of a mile with your backpack, up many hills, in 35 degree heat and 85 percent humitity is not fun! Was such a sweaty mess lol.
Anyway, all is well, I have not been eaten by any mozzies yet, but no doubt once I leave the city I will have to watch out. Im gonna head off now, as we are all going to the shop to buy beer supply to drink in the little garden bit in the front of the hostel.
Check back soon for more blog entries and pics.
